Why isn't my doctor getting back to me?

I have been so sick.

I need my Malarone and my Hydroxychloriquine.

It's my NC doctor. Supposedly, she communicates by texting. I sent her three texts, the last saying I needed help.

I talked to her receptionist on the phone, and I cried. She left a note for the doctor saying it was urgent.

Still nothing.

She was so great in the appointment. I don't understand this!

My other LL doctor ALWAYS responds to emails, no matter what.

And the LLMD I had in NY had an emergency line, and would call you back from his home.

Anyone else seeing this doctor in NC? Do you have any clues?

I see her bc she's integrative, and my last LLMD wasn't. There are only two LLMDs in NC, and the other one's crappy.

I can't travel right now, or barely.

Keep trying. My LLMD's office is notoriously non-responsive. They don't answer their phone. They don't return calls or emails—or the admin staff don't get messages to the nurse or doc. They're understaffed and overworked and overbooked and I swear it's also perpetually everyone's first week on the job. Exasperating. So I sweetly hound them while I still have my sanity. When that's gone… well, the end.

I'm wondering, too Margaret. Any luck with the Dr.?

Glad to hear that you finally got your prescriptions. The office staff where I go to the doctor are able to do my prescriptions themselves online as long as it is a refill that I am already taking. I wonder if the receptionist at your doctor's office can do the same thing.
