When chopping garlig, Allicin is created. I think its a good boost when on herbal.

We take garlic drops, starting with just one drop and building up and my daughter has herxed when taking it. It's an expensive little bottle, though.

I used to chew cloves of garlic—before I knew I had lyme and started treatment… I loved it but it was insanely intense and I felt horrible afterwards (herx!)

I use raw garlic in my green juices and I've definitely herxed from it. My issue is I never know what's too much vs. not enough, especially since it has blood thinning properties.

GraceNJ - does it make the juice bitter, or hard to drink? How many do you add?

I didn't know it's a blood thinner, but if you start seeing bruising, or bleed easily, you know it's having it's blood thinning affect, and can re-adjust amount...(unless u r on blood thinners or something else causing bleeding)
