Help - right foot turned red / got very hot while on doxy and Omnicef

Though my tests haven't come back conclusive, I am currently being treated for Lyme (Bulls eye rash 8/24/14). My PCP started me on 21 day doxy on 11/7/14 and immediately following that my LLMD put me on Omnicef. about a week into each course, my right foot turned bright red and got very hot for about 30 min (left foot was Normal). I do have a family history of Raynauds and my doc suspected some kind of sulfa reaction from one of the supplements She was giving me. I do not think it was a reaction to sulfa as my diet is full a sulfa/sulfites and never had a reaction before. I think it was a reaction to the abx or some sort of herximer. My doc was concerned enough to take me off all abx. Anyone else ever heard of such a response / reaction while being treated for Lyme? Any advice or knowledge of this would be greatly appreciated!

I've had different body parts get hot and red as part of a herxheimer reaction, just not a foot.

Where was your bulls eye rash?

Thanks all! My foot never really hurt or was sensitive to touch or pressure. The only conclusion I can draw is that it was a herximer response. I did go the the ER when it occurred 3 weeks ago and they did a vascular inflammation test and everything checked out fine. My bulls eye rash was on my upper left arm near the pit.
