Hearing my heart beat in my ears

Lately this has been getting worse and worse...when I lie down I can hear my heart beat in my ears. It's not really problematic, just kind of disconcerting and loud enough to be annoying. It often seems like it's beating too fast too. I don't know why it happens or if it has anything to do with Lyme. Does anyone know?

I had this in my left ear - closer to the heart. Could feel my pulse in my ear. I had more heart palps then too.

Was bad 4 5 years ago, mostly went away. It would change at night moving my head a little.

It happens to me, but I figured out it's actually the artery right by your ear on the side of your face making a small noise on the pillow. It's really annoying.

Happens to me all the time, esp. when lying down. I don't think much about it anymore.

It use to happen yo me but has happened much less frequently this year, the tinnitus is bad enough without hearinb my heart beat inside my ears....that doesn't sound right but that is how it is can hear and feel my heart beat jn my ears. I think it was due to more inflammation and pressure build ip in ears.

Thank you all for your replies. Seems I am not the only one who has this, which in itself makes me feel better. No one seems overly worried about it so I guess I won't worry either. I hope it eventually goes away with everything else!

Are you treating the lyme? I have been wondering if once treating with abx if that helped reduce the inflammation and thus the pounding in the ears

So far I am only treating the Babesia and the Bartonella (herbal only).
