Bio film busting herbals? Flagle ABX alternative?

Is Grape See Extract really that potent? Anything else thats a cyst buster?

Thinking of stopping my flagle abx for a while to see if flagle is raising my anxiety. So I still want a cyst buster, but not abx for this "test" duration.

I dont think my other abx (Doxy) causes anziety.

Astro - Are you talking about Grape Seed or Grapefruit Seed extract?

As far as I know, Grape Seed is not a cyst buster..but it's a great antioxidant.

I am using Grapefruit Seed extract - I pulse it on the days when I take a break from antibiotics. i don't know if it's working. I just have the only brand the health food store carries in my city.

Oops.........yes I meant Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE).

I still have some, tried it before, didnt herx back then. Its the most popular brand but cant remember the name right now.

Maybe I didnt take enough per day, took 2 to 3 a day.

I also take serrapeptase for the biofilms. I can't remember where I read that it was good for lyme.

Was it Nutribiotic, Astroman? I'm trying to retrieve info from my memory bank...and my brain isn't cooperating.

NutriBiotics is a good brand of liquid GSE. A 4 oz bottle goes for around $15 over internet.
vs $30 or so at Whole Foods and other retail stores. Check around to see who's doing free shipping. I usually go to Vitacost, Pureformulas, or Lucky Vitamins.

I'm at 20 drops twice a day. Liquid helps you ramp up dosage easier

Any of the protease enzymes would be good; nattokinase, lumbrokinase, serrapeptase. I used wobenzym N as a cystbuster and it worked GREAT, did herx, but it was expensive so I switched between that nattokinase.

Opugirl - are you talking biofilms...or cysts? Aren't they two different things?
I read on here that the protease enzymes are good for biofilms, but not effective for cysts?
It's all too complicated.

I had no idea Wobenzyme was a cyst buster—I take Wobenzyme Plus (yes, expensive) for joint pain and stiffness, works fairly well.

Bio-Fibrin from Inspired Nutrition- that link says some cool stuff, wow.

Bio film vs cysts are confusing since there are lyme bacteria cysts and regular cysts. But this link mentions bacteria cysts IN the muscles. I thought lyme cysts were deeper in the body.

Maybe the small lumps in my muscles are not just adhesion's but actually lyme bacteria cysts. Some are just under the skin. My LLMD thought they were small fat deposits. That would be weird for someone that was kind of "ripped" so to speak - I even had these back then with only 8% body fat. Now I have more of these, even though I'm still quite lean. Now I wonder if the're lyme cysts. ?? If so, this stuff says it breaks them down.

Astroman, because Inspired Nutrition describes the contents of Bio-Fibrin, it gives us the opportunity to check for ourselves if the herbs in it are effective for its purpose or if it is yet another snake oil.

My internet research shows that indeed, there is clinical science behind these herbs. I imagine that as a group, they may be more effective than separately.

As a said earlier, I take their Monolaurin product and it makes me herx quite a bit so I can't wait to try the Bio-Fibrin in hopes that it is as effective.
