Minor Injury That Flares Pain / Inflammation BIG TIME ... anyone else ??

Hi everyone -

... yesterday I leaned awkwardly into the hatchback of my car and lifted some groceries out - when I got into the house, my lower back completely went out - the pain was horrible - but it was "injury pain" ( does that make sense ? )

Today, I feel absolutely awful all over - even feverish with a sore throat ... It is as if the tweaking of my back lifting the groceries opened a Pandora's Box, and the inflammation was like wildfire thru my body ...

It feels like a full blown herxheimer reaction - I know that it is NOT a herxheimer reaction, but that's what I can best compare this flare of pain to ..

Does this make sense ??? .. Has anyone else experienced anything like this ?

I find any source of stress or trauma has the capacity to set me back.

You might have broken open a cyst or upset a biofilm.

Hope it passes soon.
