@ Tano...sorry I saw your post but then it dissapeared...I hope I didn't accidently delete it or hit flag by accident..if so sorry. Here's some symptoms to look for a copper deficiency:
I used Chelated version of copper gluconate.
..but you can try what my Chemistry teacher had done after he had
found out he was copper deficient.
He wore a copper bracelet; one of the best forms of absorption for some people seem to be transdermal. Ever since, he said his copper levels were normal. You can get a copper pot, pour water and leave it overnight, then drink it the next day(I was told they do this in India). You can also wear a copper ring. I like supplementing because it seems to work for me. Transdermal would be a good option.
Premature Grey Hairs: I have many white hairs premature.
Dark bags under eyes: May be a sign of copper deficiency.
Thyroid Problem?: Do you have irregular energy patterns?
Circulation Problem?
Varicose Veins?
Copper is involved with pigmentation of hair, lack of it can cause white hairs.
Copper is involved in iron metabolism...lack of iron metabolism can affect focus by hindering dopamine levels.
Copper through iron metabolism, contributes to hemoglobin molecule completion.
Copper through iron metabolism, can help iron deliver oxygen to tissues(foccus issues?)
Copper is involved in getting iron transport to certain areas of the body...the brain for example(a study shows iron deficiency in certain areas of the brain for adhd patients) do you have focus issues?
Copper is involved with dopamine production, norepinephrine, and epineprhine.
Copper helps circulation.
Copper balances zince, and zinc balances copper.
Zinc deficiency sign is white spots on the nails.
There's a bit that may help answer your question, if you suspect copper deficiency. You can find all this though research online.
