Hi Mr. Mike!
Ya well for my transition to repair, I plan on using intestinew ( I need to fix my digestive tract after the amounts of abx I took), ATP fuel (need to heal my mitochondria from both intracellular abx and the infection damages), taking immune boosting herbs, LymPlus, and the Multi Immune from Researched Nutritionals. I also am getting an IR sauana as well. Lots of probiotics, curcumin, and omegas. A Paleo diet.
I think for herbs I may keep taking japanese knotweed (as this one is simply healthy in many ways and could benefit my health), and perhaps mushroom blends. I don't want to be on too many medicinal herbs for too long though.
I also want to start juicing daily as well.
So I mean to be honest it's a pretty long process! It is really quite rewarding to have your health back though, and now that we have been in the depths of a Chronic Illness I think it teaches us to value our health more? And also at least it's not as bad when you get over the "hump" we all know that time when we are just starting out with Lyme and feel like we'll never get better and are just herxing for months on end.
Personally I do strongly support antibiotic herbs and support herbs... But in terms of killing the bugs I still prefer using antibiotics. Just because there is more science on how it affects the bugs and more data. With the herbs I guess there is always that concern of the unknown. Not saying they don't work because they do, but I just feel more security with abx.
That being said if I ever feel it comes back... I will have ceftin ready!
