has anyone had success getting well from babesia with the buhner protocol? the newest one? jackie I took jernigan for 2 months and all the tingling I was having on my skin bottom of my feet went away.

We are, and only at low doses. 15 drops CSA BID, 5 drops red root TID, 1 drop bidens, plus low 1/4 dosages of the whole bartonella protocol (JK, sida acuta, houttuynia, cordyceps, green tea, hawthorne, milkthistle - no l-arginine).

thank you rowing mom. are you taking the blend by woodland essence. I plan on having some made up by them. what are your babesia symptoms?

I feel like I cannot get a good breath and I am tired all the time. it is like it is affecting my lungs. there is a certain stain called a giamesa stain you can have to confirm babesisa. have you had that ? are has anyone had it?

Yes, we are using CSA by WoodLandEssence. Our daughter's first indication that she was dealing with babesia was brought on by a herx produced by CSA. Our LLMD had been wondering why she wasn't completely healing after 2 years of abx for bartonella, so even though our daughter was holding her own at 80% improvement after 2 years of abx and another 8 months of Buhner's herbal bartonella protocol, I decided to trial CSA.

The herx was all babesia. Symptoms she had never had before. Air hunger, chest pressure, sighing, dry cough, thigh muscle pain. Our LLMD clinically diagnosed her, all Igenex tests (B microti, B duncani) were negative.

Treatment with CSA has cleared up our daughter's lingering Asperger's symptoms and social regression. She had a huge improvement in cognitive and executive functioning, as well as math and spatial abilities. Her teacher called 5 days after I had initiated CSA wondering what was going on.

Because our daughter had never suffered physical symptoms of babesia, I can't say that we have seen improvement in babesia symptoms, however her lingering bartonella symptoms left after 2 years of bart abx - low level shin pain, headache etc. have completely resolved since treating babesia.

I am glad to hear she is doing better. I plan on starting on it, to see if I can further recover. my headaches, tingling feelings and much of my symptoms disappeared on jernigan protocol. neuro antitox 2 helps too with detox. I have come far on iv peroxide and dmso every week. took it from may to july stopped restarted from october to now. plan on taking 20 to 40 treatments. and continue with herbal protocol.

Hey rowing mom… I am curious. Does bartonella just come back when you stop the bart herbs? I mean I think I beat mine. But I have still had the bart drink every second day or so… Soo who knows maybe it will come back if I don't take it? You say your symptoms are 99% resolved. What issues are left?

Me - I really have no symptoms left.

Our daughter has a bit of residual Tourette's that has started up again this winter (mouth stretching) - ticcing being a symptom of the PANS/PANDAS syndrome that she started out with, and that our LLMD said was caused by her bart infection. But she is also having a fair bit of orthodontic work done and has had extractions and wires and all kinds of things going on in her mouth. All of her pain and other neuro/psych symptoms have resolved.

To tell the truth, I am afraid to stop the herbs. We have a naturopath that wants to start some homeopathic treatments to help the detox and immune systems, and I have a near-ir sauna that I want to start using too, to help with mito function. So we won't be weaning until I have everything else up and going.

Besides, Buhner's associate says to keep at it for a while longer. I need my crutch.
