I know that people often now advocate to eat dirt, drink only tap water, garden barefoot, force the kids to play outside all day (take electronics away/don't provide them in the first place), never use hand sanitizers, breast feed, of course, don't wash home-grown produce, the list is long.

Although often advocated, I don't think much of this will be effective and could be detrimental. Many children's immune systems are too compromised (from vaccines, poor gut bacteria passed from the mother, pesticides in food) to allow for proper immune response to environmental parasites and bacteria.
K was breast fed, but then my immune system was probably struggling because of pesticides/GMOS which had just taken off at that point (2001). Our LLMD thinks her infections are congenital.
ToddPaul - We are using Culturelle or Align (alternating daily) at noon, and then in the afternoon along with psyllium we take a rotation of Prescript
Assist, AOR Probiotic-3, or ReNewLife UltimateFlora (so a different one daily). In the evening we take 1/4 c fermented vegetables inoculated with the previous 3 probiotics.
