Is anyone using Chlorella for detoxing?

I had been taking Chlorella from around Nov 2012 through to last month. I ran out and since I'm feeling much better I have been reducing my supplement regimen to try to save $$$$ again.

I never saw any big impact, but it may have helped clean out toxins thru the heavy ABX period. I maybe should have started taking it sooner than I did.

I take it, one month on one month off. My llmd said to do it this way to keep it from pulling out too many minerals.

which chlorella brand does everyone use? Id like to start taking it.

My research says it's important to get broken-cell-wall chlorella....organic is always nice :)

I have been using Vitamineral Green from HealthForce simply because I had this in my cabinet of supplements before it was discovered that I had Lyme. It contains chlorella, although I am not sure if it is broken cell or not. I also have to remind myself that it contains a few strands of probiotics and enzymes.

It also contains spirulina, kelp, bladderwrack, holy basil, horsetail, moringa, ginger, barley grass, wheatgrass, nettle leaf, just to name a few.

HealthForce is known for going beyong organic ingredient standards. They call it “Trueganic” and claim that it is the purest form beyond the loose USDA organic standards. I gave it a shot and purchased it on the recommendation of a fellow health nut who I know works at my local health food store.

It is 100% raw, vegan, gluten free, yeast free, grain & filler free. It may be something you want to look into, I believe they sell it on Amazon in both the capsule and powder form.

Whether or not it has helped, I am not certain. I tend to be aggressive in treatment and detoxing and like to throw everything but the kitchen sink at the problem- in the hopes that *something* will work. The problem with that it is, in the end if it is successful, I am not sure that there is anything specific that I can attribute the success to! But, I can say, for the past week that I have felt better than I have in a long time. I herxed pretty badly when I was on Doxy for the first week and a half and then had to switch to amoxy for strep. I am back on Doxy, but so far, no herxing. I have stepped up my detoxing routines with dry brushing, herbs, and more Epson salt soaks. I may even begin light workouts soon.

I have been using it for quite some time. The brand I use is BioPure - 100% Organic Chlorella - Pyrenoidosa - grown in ionized oxygenated water.

Thanks so much, I feel a lot better knowing that so many of you are taking it. Do you take it on an empty stomach? How do you space it out with the antibiotics and vitamins and other supplements? I took one pill, I think it only has about 125 mg because is a combo with spirunela and made me a little dizzy for about 15 minutes. Nothing else. I also take vitamin C liposomal. Same thing, about 15 minutes of very mild dizziness and nothing else.
