Question about lyme and heart issues?

Ever since the fall started my heart has not seemed to been the same as it was before, I get minor chest tightness in the upper left area a little above my peck that seems to come and go.

I have been having this for a while, also lightheaded when I work out for 20 or 30 minutes or sometimes jus get a bit lightheaded in general. It's never too crazy(for the moment at least) but it does kind of alarm me.

This was scaring me so I went for an ekg back at the end of October, doctor saidy ekg looked good and he thinks my heart and cardiovascular area is okay.

Should I be worried about this since I had a good ekg? I don't know what to think although it has had my anxiety up for a while now. I don't want to just suddenly drop dead of heart issues caused by lyme, one part of me thinks I shouldn't worry too much because of my good ekg but another part of me worries about this, any opinions?

It is hard not to worry about something so fundamental, but you are right, stop worrying. It doesn't help really, does it?!

While borrellia and co-infections can attack your heart, cause electrical malfunctions and the like, you would see that in your test results.

I've had numerous events with my heart with strange test results and they still couldn't come up with a diagnosis or any help. So I just carry on with my treatment, hoping that will resolve the issue (and it has, to the most part).

It is a good idea to keep vigilant, as you have. Maybe back off on the intensity of your workouts?
