I thought I'd start a separate thread, so we don't hijack Mike's thread.

I think I was given a quercitin and C supplement by an ND for a sinus problem about 6 years ago. Though my memory is fuzzy, so I might not remember the reason exactly.

I've seen 7 NDs. ND 1 diagnosed my mold allergy when I was a kid, maybe 6 years old. I was having recurrent ear infections. She put me on the first mold nosode I was on. Then she moved and I started with ND 2, I think I switched between 2 mold nosodes depending on what I needed at the time. I started seeing ND 3 for acupuncture, and eventually switched to her. She put me on a different mold nosode. Then I moved out of state, so I couldn't continue with her.

I found ND 4 and I really liked her a lot, but she moved shortly after I started seeing her. The next 2 NDs I saw didn't work out, since they're approach didn't work well.

I'm now on ND 7, and I do like her but I also have a couple issues with her.

There are two issues with the mold nosodes. I don't remember the two I was on as a kid. I think I remember the one I was on with ND 3, but I'm not sure if I can find it. Plus I can't do kinesiology on myself to determine which one would be best.

I really am wondering if this sinus thing is bacterial infection or mold allergy. It started around the same time as my youngest miniature horse came down with a bacterial sinus infection. But it got really bad last night when I stayed at a hotel with a bad mold problem. And I had a big allergic reaction this morning.

With the exception of ND 4, I haven't been very impressed with the NDs up here.

I haven't read up on quercetin for a long time. My sinus problems aren't deep seated, so maybe it works on mild problems and not deeper seated ones.

You went through a lot of NDs! I think I've only been to 3 or 4 over my approximately 30 years of using them. We have some good ones here and there's a Naturopathic college here that probably influences that. There's even talk of a naturopathic hospital going in here. It has been a long time since there has been one in the US.

I was only on one nosode when I was treated with classical homeopathy. I'll have to look up the mold ones out of curiosity.

It does sound like you might have a mold allergy and infections can get started when you have allergies. I've used Allermax for my pollen allergies, but I don't know if it would work on mold allergies. A homeopathic remedy stopped my allergies last year, which I didn't expect, so I hope it's still holding for this year. Hopefully you'll get to the bottom of your problems soon.

My previous doc. told me that more often than not, sinus infection are more often fungal (mold - is a fungus). This doesn't mean it's forsure fungal.

Sayyoudina, there is a way to self test with kineosolgy. I watched some utube videos, and they seem to be consistent with my MD's kinesology findings.
