Hi Dancingbear-
The stones may be tiny enough that you don't see them in the toilet or "feel" them exiting your urinary tract. When you have the pain that starts in your lower back and then wraps around your hip and heads to your lower stomach/bladder area, this is usually a stone that has broken loose from the kidney and is making its way out. As it is doing this, it is causing pain and inflammation.
I never "caught" a stone in the toilet (I have read that you can capture with a strainer and take it in to your Dr to have it analyzed as there are different types) but I do notice lots of cloudy urine with stones.
The diuretics like coffee and soda are bad not only because they do not help keep you hydrated, but they are acidic. An acidic diet is hard on your body, but especially those with lyme and/or kidney issues.
For me personally, I have noticed the most success by cutting out all soda and coffee, no dairy, no sugar, and I cut back on meat. For a while last year, I even went entirely vegan just to help my kidneys and this was before I knew I even had lyme.
I never had kidney stones or issues until after my tick bite. They say the lyme bacteria attacks the weakest areas of your body first. Not sure if this is actually their "game plan" or it is just that lyme is everywhere and you notice it first in your weakest areas. Either way, the kidneys play an integral part in healing from lyme- from a detoxing perspective especially. You really need to get your kidneys healthy to help with all of this.
It sounds like you are doing the right things with the juice, water and ACV. Have the test results come back with any results?
