Mepron/Zithromax......how long before improvement?

IF the mepron and Zithromax combo were to work, how long would it take to notice some definite improvement?

Didn't you just start the Mepron this week? It takes at least a few weeks :)

I did just start it. And I have not started the Zithromax yet. But, I was hoping to hear from someone who actually took it so I could get a first hand account of their experience.

The normal life cycle of a red blood cell is about 4 months. So, it would not be unreasonable to wait that long to see improvement. I'm just guessing.

Hey Utah

First time I took it I got a lot worse before seeing any improvements. Weeks 4 thru 9 were living hell will new symptoms cropping up (increased bone and joint pain, frozen shoulder, lower back issues, increased occurrence of spontaneous bruising). Then symptoms started to wane a bit. I don't have my symptoms log handy to check other history. This was back in May to Sept in 2011, then switched over to a Rifampin protocol for Bart.
