Can this be a lyme symptom?

Hi, when I go to bed at night immediatly I get pins and needles in my hands, my shoulders hurt and my feet hurt. I will wake in the night my figers are swollen, hard to bend and hurt! I step out of my bed my feet fricken hurt me too! It all started with heel pain if I laid on my back and over the year it has gotten worse. After I wake up about 10 mins or so my aches and pains go away UNLESS I sit for a while then upon standing my feet ache again.

My elbows tend to hurt too. If I make a ball with my hand my joints hurt in my fingers.

I'm wondering if I'm experiencing RA symptoms or is it lyme's? I also go to MAYO Clinic in a month for my ulcerative colitis I've had for 10 years with inflammation the whole time!!! No medication work at getting me into remission.

I was dx with LYMES too back 5 years ago, CHRONIC might I add they said.

I've been to two different chiroprators and that didn't help. No pinched nerve no pain in my back or neck either. In the joint s of my hands and feet. Thank you for reading. Linda

One of my worst symptom is pain. If I keep moving, it's not as bad...but when I sit down in the evening to watch tv, if I sit more than half an hour, when i stand up, I hurt - back, tailbone, knees.

I have sore shoulders, feet, fingers (not swollen though)...and more.

Am I correct, that you were never treated for lyme disease?
Have you ever seen a Lyme Literate MD?

Yep been to a lyme literate doctor for many years and two year of all different kinds of antibiotics, I'm going to see a infectious disease doctor at mayo and getting retested. It's been 5 years since dx with lymes. Someone mentioned maybe sugar levels are off,

Oh yes! I couldn't climb a flight of stairs before hand without sleeping 8 hrs after. It helped but I did a ton of abx drugs. My friend is doing it the natural route with herbs from a dr. In San dego and a year and half later he still a mess from lymes.

I would encourage you to completely rule out a Lyme reinfection or relapse with a very good LLMD before turning anywhere else as well - or that you don't have Bartonella or another co-infection.
