Mountain Herbs say you can leave it on the kitchen counter as long as they are not in direct sun light. I guess the best way is out of the light period.

Would the charcoal help her get rid of the crawling thing?

She gets numbness as well, but the most annoying thing remains crawling. She was scratching a lot last night and couldn't fall asleep. The worst is her belly. She asked for anti-itch cream but after she scratched so much and put Benadryl gel on, her skin was burning. I wish I knew how to get rid of this.

What helped you most get rid of the crawling and itchiness? Thanks!

I skipped the herb tea today for her--she was really out of it. I only gave her a cup of horsetail tea and water with lemon today. She said her lower back hurts and she feels her legs are hallow. I remember I had that hallow feeling too, but I never mentioned it to her.

Also, she got the crawling earlier but when she went to bed she said it feels like her belly and lower back is tingly. Is that from the nerves, too? ALso, she said when I picked her up from school that is feels her whole body vibrates. I never felt this, ever!

My son had one episode one time early in the morning when I saw his face vibrating, but I never mentioned it to any of the kids! Not even my son knows this because it happened in his sleep. So I know my daughter is not making it up.

We all drink the horsetail tea, so I know it can't be that. She was out of it when coming out of the tub, too. So I am cutting the echinacea mix tea and increasing the detox for now.

She has been the strongest most resilient kid, on the monkey bars the whole summer, but I guess it is catching up with her. Could it be something else?

I am concerned that they may have been infected with EU lyme and it may be impossible to ever get a + test. They got very ill 5 years ago when we went to Europe. Maybe that's why they keep testing negative?

I dont think she has heart problems--she runs too much for her to have a heart problem, when she is well. I think it was a herx of some sort. Today I stopped the herb tea and just gave her the horse tail tea and water and she was much better. I have family members that deal with heart issues and they are weak and tired. She is the opposite.

I found my son with his face vibrating one morning. I froze! It is not every morning that you find your kid with his face vibrating in his sleep! I called his neuro and left a message with his secretary and he didn't even get back to me! I then asked him on our last visit and he didn't give me a straight answer. I don't even think he believed me! It seems that lately, doctors just think I am nuts!

Crawling was better and the pain was better today. Yes, rowingmom has been very helpful, but you used a different herb protocol, so I wanted to get two oppinions on 2 different protocols. She has helped me a lot, but as I am at the begining and I can't even do an herb tea once a day every day, I can't push anything else, either, so I won't add anything else. Maybe we start with one day on/one day off or half of cup/day. That tea doesn't do anything to neither of us, and she has such a reaction! I really did not expect this at all.

I have one last question: What green tea did you use? I looked on mountain rose and they have like 5 of them. DOes it matter which one I get?

She was better today, physically, but after she drank the tea she couldn't follow our conversation. I thought maybe she is tired, but she said it has happened at school, too. She said she gets "blurry thinking" and she can't follow what someone says until the end. I guess she means brain fog!

I purposely DO NOT ask any of the kids how they feel except when the other kids are not around, so I know she is not making it up! That's the only way to be sure. Also, their symptoms are quite different, although some overlap. She got crawing again on her back and itchiness on the buttom of the feet after she had the tea. I only put Echinacea and one other herb in to try to figure out what is causing it. Both of my daughters have problems falling asleep. Son used to have a problem and the neuro prescribed melatonin, but after he started the abx, he falls asleep right away.
