One thing I wondered was if you you got bit by something when you were working outside that added to your infection. We've seen some mosquitoes already. I don't think it's real likely and wouldn't necessarily cause all the problems you've been having, so just a thought.
Has your doc ever had you tested for allergies to anything you're taking?
I'd suggest you keep a detailed diary of things you take and eat to see if you are reacting to anything. Not an easy task, but it might offer some clues to some of your problems.
I do hope your doctor will have you checked to see what's causing your hands to turn black. That shouldn't wait.
I have been having some weak spells from my body fighting off the bug my hubby has. My arms and legs just don't want to move a lot. I did a little shovel work outside today and the shovel started feeling heavier and heavier, so I quit and probably won't do any more today. It's disrupting my sleep too, which doesn't help. So some of your weakness could be a virus. I think if my Lyme infection was a lot worse, it would impact me more. Like I said before, it's a tough bug. My hubby has had it for 11 days now. Do you have any coughing or nasal discharge?
There have been some cases of a meningitis type of infection at the U of O, not that I think you have that or if it's very likely in your area, but it's good to be aware of it if you aren't already.
Sorry, not great ideas, but that's what my sleepy head thought of.
