Herx or Drug Reaction?

Ok...I'm about to start my first medication for Bartonella.

If I end up responding to it, how will I know if I'm having an actual HERX reaction or just side effects from the drug that anybody could have?

I know myself and I think I'll keep second guessing and questioning if this happens to me. Does anybody have any advice on this or past experiences?

A herx reaction will peak and then subside, while a side effect will just keep on going. The side effects are listed, a herx reaction is an increase in your symptoms, or a flu-like experience.

While it is good to keep aware of the side effects, try not to focus on them -- nothing like the power of suggestion!!!
