Progress & Not!

I am on IV rocephin for 5 wks and still have extreme fatigue and
unsteady walking at times. There are other sx that are gone! Yay!
But these main ones have not changed and I worry they never will.

I know that 5 wks is not long for tx but I am a worry wart......

Any thoughts?

You have to remember that sometimes you can have symptoms like fatigue and wobbliness from the medicines themselves. It might be a while before you feel better from such strong medicine.

As a previous IV Rocephin user, it will take more time. I took it for 13 months straight while changing between babs and bart protocol at the same time, then finished off with 3 months IV Doxy. Symptoms overlap so much you can't tell what's working or not, or which disease is in the forefront. Bryan Rosner's latest book may help you.

Be patient. I'm still treating 2 years after removing the PICC line, but 90% well and only taking one ABX and several herbals for maintenance.

And btw, do some sx come back occasionally? Or are they gone for good....
