Hello everyone,

I am about to begin a regimen of biltricide at a dose that seems rather daunting: 600mg a day for 10 days, a two week break, and then another 10 day course. I am wondering if anyone has taken this medication and what their experience was. Prior to this I was on doxy for a month and had terrible herxing. My LLMD said that he thought parasites were impeding my detox process. Thoughts?

Have Lyme, Babesia, Bartonella...and I guess also worms.

Well, this might not be altogether helpful; my most direct experience with this drug is that I use it to worm my goats. My own LLMD had me use Black Walnut, which is a dewormer and also helps fight Babesia.

As daunting as taking this medicine seems, I am sure it is going to make you feel a great deal better. Parasites can wreck havoc with your body, not just doing damage, but producing toxins and preventing you from absorbing nutrients.

The two periods of dosing will make sure you kill the parasites in all the their life cycles.

It sounds like you are in the hands of a very good LLMD.
