Main Symptoms of Babesia ??

I wrote in another post about some sx being better or gone!!! I think the IV abx that I take is killing the lyme. But maybe the weakness while walking and extreme fatigue, could that be a co- infection?

Any thoughts?

Sueg, yes that could be Babesia, you tested positive for that didn't you? I would guess that your doctor will go after that next. Don't underestimate how hard on your body the antibiotics you are on can be. Your body is a war zone at the moment!

It could be a side effect of the rocephin. I've read that it can cause fatigue and weakness. I'm starting it in a few weeks. I already am very weak. I hope it doesn't get worse.

But babesia is known to cause fatigue and weakness too. I hate how confusing this disease is!

I know that meds can cause side effects but this is crushing
fatigue on and off almost daily. And the walking weakness is a variable thing--sometimes very good, sometimes bad. Would the meds or the babesia cause such strong sx ??

It just sounds like a methylation blockade to me as a result of the antibiotics and system overload.

It sounds like typical symptoms from a non or low functioning methylation pathway causing oxidative stress. Weakness can also be metabolic, but it's all connected.
