I have been reading some of the posts here and it seems that many patients have a thyroid issue also. Is this a common duo? And is it hard for a doctor to diagnose when results might be borderline for thyroid levels?
Thanks

Yes, and yes. If you're borderline hypothyroid, you most likely need some thyroid hormone. Try to find an integrative doc., or talk to your LLMD.

What teragram said.............
And remember Endo's are (generalizing here) noted for being close minded as far as thyroid treatment goes. A Dr with an
open mind and who will listen is the best choice.
Since you've read the recent thyroid posts here, you pretty much know what you need to look for. Stop The Thyroid Madness site will be a repeat of this info with greater detail- its a great site and newly improved on too.
A lot of the symptoms people mention here can be from low thyroid.
