Can you guys help me figure out this symptom? I'm baffled..

It starts with my jaw feeling tight and tired. And then my neck feels tight and tired and it slowly travels down my spine. Then my vision gets really weird and I feel drugged, foggy and weak. Everything looks like it's moving when it's not. Like the feeling when you're at a stoplight and the car beside you moves and it makes you feel like you're moving but you're really not. Just like that. Then I see sparkles. Like... Rainbow sparkly floating things everywhere. Then the weakness gets intense and I have to lay down with my eyes closed and focus on breathing or I'm afraid I'll pass out.

It happened yesterday in a parking lot and I was trying to get back to the truck and was zig zagging my way over and barely made it. I get nauseous and hot. I don't sweat that bad when it happens, but some.

Is this from my heart? Or brain? Vagus nerve? When it gets really bad my hands and feet curl up and I cannot release them. My tongue too and of course my jaw. It's like being paralyzed and.... I don't know what else. It's really strange. Maybe I'm having a stroke? Or a seizure? I don't get it...

It feels like you're going to pass out? Vasovagal syncope?

Syncope is the word for fainting. What brings it on?

Assuming your not in panic mode I have no idea, I guess it would be neurological and maybe some inner ear involved.

If your in a very panicy anxiety state I'd mind I'm sure some people in the anxiety forum habve similar problems

Have you ever had you blood sugar levels checked? I don't know that it would cause all those symptoms, though. It could possibly be connected to something you're taking. I'd suggest you call your doc to see if you need to get checked out soon. I'm sorry you have yet another thing to deal with.

This has been happening since before treatmwnt. And no, no panic involved. It's hard to lean towards syncope because it starts in my jaw?

My throat feels tight too. It's really really weird.. If I don't get to lay down I'll eventually pass out. But it's like a process that takes about 2 hours from start to finish. Always the same. It's been happening for... Over 2 years. Maybe more. It started after I had surgery on my uterus and has been happening ever sincee.

I really want to figure it out so I can avoid it. It happened again this morning and I feel like I'm on the verge of it continning if I don't take it easy.

I think some of these symptoms are hard to categorize--it's just one of those weird Lyme and cos things. I don't even question some of my symptoms anymore.

I do know that hot sweats and nausea are either Babs or Bart related.

Jaw and neck pain are very common for Lyme, and the jaw pain can come from clenching your jaw or TMJ. The sparkles and so on could be anything from mild hallucinations to migraine or pre-seizure auras.

When things get fuzzy, it might mean you're starting to pass out or have a mild seizure.

The things moving when they're not sounds like either dizziness or vertigo, and nausea often accompanies vertigo. I think sparkles might just be something that accompany the feeling that you're about to pass out, or faint.

Oh wait. If your hands and feet curl up, it sounds like a seizure, although in a full blown seizure, you would be unconscious and unaware of what was going on. You might be having a seizure aura?

I read about seizures and if that's what happening it's could be a partial seizure. Things that are close look farther away, I see rainbow sparkles everywhere, I try and walk and expect my feet to touch the ground before they actually do because of the way everything looks and feels. It gets hard to breath and I have a strange feeling from my jaw that runs down my spine.

Hopefully not. But I really need to ask my doctor about it. I'll be looking at stuff and if I move at all things will trace and it looks like there is more than one of everything. A fuzzy feeling all around my face and chest. I always have a bad headache after and feel exhausted. It feels like I'm on drugs honestly. What I would imagine being on drugs would feel like anyway. It takes way too much effort to talk let alone breath and keep my eyes open.

Yuck. What is this??? And how do I make it stop? It's happened continously all day long. I can't live like this. I can't take care of my kid when I'm this out of it.
