I thought Avril Lavgne's announcement would bring attention to lyme for younger people and support the cause...


This like the THIRD article that has all medical info wrong and is putting it out there in connection with the star!!

So now people will againg think it's all in her head and not a big deal!!!!!

The best way to send counter that is to tweet the author. I just did and I recommend everyone else join in. His twitter handle is @chrissosa. You have to send your tweet in response to a tweet he has sent for him to see it. I sent mine in response to his last tweet which is about the religious freedom laws. I wouldn't have if he had any responses.
If you have never been on twitter before it's a great way to have your voice heard. If random people follow you, you can block them.

This sentence is absurd: Just consult your doctor if your symptoms return so you can be sure it’s PTLDS.

Yep, wouldn't want to mistake symptoms for something treatable !! (sarcasm).

I actually read the other day that Lyme disease infection can mimic interstitial cystitis (for those not familiar with interstitial cystitis it's a mysterious syndrome where the bladder becomes inflammed and irritated just like it would were it infected with a bacteria!).

So an actual infection mimicking a SYNDROME! How insane is that sentence. How about the infection possibly causing the SYNDROME. Wow. These people are not bright.
