test results need help understanding what 1.99 mean

Can someone explain what positive for Lyme test means it say 1.99 positive. Can the doctor tell how long I have had it with that number?

Hi Viola, we are going to need more information. What Lyme test is this, and what is the ratio that you are comparing it to? Is this an ELISA? The comparison # is usually next to your result on the lab work.

And no, there is no test that can tell how long you have had Lyme.

Hi Viola,
A couple of weeks ago you said you test had come back positive and you were on week three of minocyclin (and it sounded like you were herxing -- a definite sign that you are fighting Lyme).

What are you wanting to know exactly? Are you trying to figure out how long you will have to be treated? Are you doubting your diagnosis (very common when you are herxing)?

Have you found a Lyme Literate Doctor yet?
