Anyone with lyme have new thyroid issues?

Hi

Just wondering if anyone with Lyme has had issues with their thyroid. I was diagnosed with an enlarged thyroid recently (via exam and confirmed by ultrasound). While my TSH and T4 Free are "with in range" my TSH has slowly risen over the last year.

Here is my lyme test history:

August 2012 - Tested positive for Lyme Igm 23, 39, 41 and positive Igg 18, 39, 41, 45, 58, 66, 93. (treated with Ceftin - allergic to doxy)

Sept. 2013 - positive Igm 23, Igg 39 & 66 (no treatment)

October 2014 - positive Igm 23, Igg 18, 39, 41, 58 & 66. (treated with Cefitn)

My thyroid issues just started in October 2014. I wasnt sure if Lyme can cause an enlargement of your thyroid.

There are some people here with thyroid issues. Lyme is known to cause it sometimes, not always the case though. Not uncommon if thats what your wondering.

If had Lyme 16 yrs and about a year and half ago TSH went a little high and my TPO, hubby also has Lyme and 2 yrs ago had a goiter.

I believe lyme causes thyroid issues, My thyroid was low, I take Kelp... I read that Lyme toxins cause pituitary and thyroid issues. Thatcause more symptoms like cold intolerance, low body temp

I developed Hashimoto's thyroiditis while I was infected with Lyme and company. It's fairly common to have thyroid (& adrenal) issues when a person has Lyme.
