Tingly prickly skin all over, worsened by heat. Is this bartonella?

At times, i get "waves" of tingly prickly skin and nerves that are triggered or worsened when i sweat or get hot. It migrates all around. Its really annoying and makes my body feel itchy. It feels like its on the surface of the skin but also the nerve endings. Eventually it subsides but it seems to be triggered everytime by a big increase in body temp.

Does this sound bart or lyme or something unrelated? Anyone else experience this?

I also experience it but not necessarily when my temp increases. I seem to have itchy skin a lot in the evening after a shower when the weather is cold out. But get it like I'm being stung or something any time of the season. I think I might have Bart, don't have the stretch marks but sore muscles all in my back/butt, bottoms of feet sore, have eye issues.

Hope someone else responds who can give a better answer.

I get the waves of prickly skin, but I don't think mine is triggered by temp increase at least that I have noticed. Mine feels similiar to when I have installed fiberglass insulation and its touched my bare skin. I've attributed my to nerve pain from Lyme. Very annoying symptom though as nothing but time seems to relieve it.

I would certainly discuss it at your next Dr's appointment.

Old pist I know, but I have the exact same symptom.
When I am hot ( hot weather or exercise), I am hitten by waves of nerve pain in my torso and it comes in my head, arm, abdomen ( just one side, I am "lymed" in my half right side).
If someone has got some relief with that...
I currently am doing BVT.

Sounds like MCAS to me. I have read that BVT can worsen MCAS. But I'm sure one of the tick-borne infections is capable of just about anything. ;)
