Traveler, you may have mentioned this in the previous thread but how long did it take for you to see significant improvement on the tonic and what do you believe were the key herbs to fighting the infections?

I'd love to try the Hooch. But I'm too dang lazy to order all those herbs and weigh them all to get the right proportion! Isn't there anywhere it can be ordered already mixed?

I see that it's a liquid. I though for some reason it was tea. So, do you just add a few drops to water or tea and drink?

Mr. Mike - yes, that's quite possible! Especially since you know that your most severe symptoms are that of Lyme!! I would suggest you start off on a very low dose to see how you react! I would hate to hear that you ended up with the herx from h-e-double toothpicks!!

I do think the herbs work together. For example one of the uses of
--St. Johns wort is to ease depression.
--Eleuthero is to ease exhaustion.
--Neem has a lot of uses including leprosy LOL, worms, malaria, depending of the part of the tree used; but helps with eye issues as well, so you may get that extra benefit you need :) Seriously it's a great herb! I need to plant myself one!

I think Buhner is knowledgeable, but I have done things that he recommends against and they turned out fine. Dr. K uses neem too, in some of the products he recommends, so I am right there, in between the 2 of them. Not following neither of them to the letter. It is turning out well for us so far and everyone is making progress.

So, I am re-listing the "ingredients" here (copied and pasted from Trav's first thread:

4 ounces of Cat's Claw

2 ounces Echinacea Root - according to Buhner, this needs to be Echinacea Angustfolia.

2 ounces Teasel

2 ounces Eleuthero

2 ounces Red Root

2 ounces Japanese Knotweed

1 ounce St. Johns wort

1 ounce Sweet Annie (also known as Artemisia Annua, Sweet Wormwood)

1/2 ounce Neem leaf

1/4 ounce Oregano

1/4 ounce Thyme

The quantities are *VERY* important. I am looking at red root and St. Johns wort. They can both cause clotting. But Cat's claw reverses that, so

CC:RR:SJW===4:2:1

should be safe for most people. If someone has problems with cloting and is on meds such as Warfarin, they should check with a doctor. Since the cat's claw is in higher dose, I think it is safe for most."

I don't think anyone is concerned about oregano or Thyme LOL
