I know I had Lyme specific bands on igenex. But sometimes I think something else is going On. Ive had pain running down my neck and I just noticed that my vein is really dark blue and bulging. Maybe from my brain being swollen? I don't know...

this is probably a stupid thought that I shouldn't put much energy into. I'm just.... not getting better. At all. I'm getting worse as the weeks turn into months.. ugh.

I'm so sorry. i feel the same way. I had a positube lyme titer & a positive kd23 igg band on the western blot. I just got retested for lyme and tested for Coinfections. I am in so much pain that I doubt it all the time. I think all the time they are missing something else. I understand

Same here. I'm no better after 6 months. I wonder if we do have something else in addition to Lyme?

Me too. Some improvements....but not enough to convince me...

I guess what's confusing me...is I've been healthy all my life...when I got anything - colds, flus, I always got better very quickly....when I had to take antibiotics for anything (very rarely), after a couple days, symptoms gone...etc.

So, when I found out I had lyme disease...I thought..ok, give me the antibiotics...I'll be better in a couple of months...maybe 3-4 months max.

9 months later....hmmm...why am I not healing fast? I guess lyme doesn't play by the rules.

If you're multipley Co-infected, I think it will take a while to feel better. 6 months isn't too realistic especially if you're not addressing all the issues. The hard part is figuring out what those are.

Some people have had to address heavy metals, detox problems, thyroid, andrenals, parasites, and go through a lot of trial and error before seeing results.

Same for me :-(. I never feel totally convinced . . . 18 months of treatment and still struggling and suffering with dizziness/tingliness/ wooziness in my head :-(. It gets so disheartening that I guess we're bound to question our diagnosis . . . :-(

I was CDC positive and didn't feel any better until I was well past the 6 month mark.

Don't let your mind add stress to an already stressful situation. Stress is equal to another Co infection in terms of the effect it has on our body. I know when I'm in a lot of pain I have to remember to breathe and relax my body. The stress from the pain has me so tight I have to consciously relax to urinate.

Try and take deep breaths. Lower your shoulders. Clear your mind.

Your brain is working better than your giving yourself credit. Your writing is still beautifully done. I know it isn't what it was but you'll get there. That your worried about being a good mom tells me you are.

One of the benefits to hanging around here as much as I do (LOL!!) is that I have seen that this happens so often to so many people, it's almost as if it's one of the symptoms of chronic Lyme disease.
