I know that syphilis can show positive on a lyme titer. I have had the vdrl and dark field microscopy test for syphilis but if in late stages it may not show up on those tests. I've been begging for a fta-abs syphilis test to rule it out With no sucess.I know they are similar diseases. Both are spirochaetes. Any suggestions on this.

Good luck.
