Bart Scratches...Image!

Ok, I posted a link below that has an image. Hopefully it works. This is not the first time I've seen scratches like this, but these appeared on my back last night out of nowhere. I'm certain I did not scratch myself or get scratched. They lasted a few hours, I went to bed, and then this morning they were gone.

Now, my LLMD has clinically diagnosed me with Bartonella, but I'm curious if these look like a skin manifestation of Bart? I don't get the typical "stretch marks", but I do get scratches like this on and off, as well as other red marks on my skin. I have no other skin conditions or issues that could cause this.

Do these look Bart related to you? In this image you can only see a few scratches/lines, but a little while after those appeared, 3 others appeared nearby that were very similar.

I'm no expert but to me those don't look like Bart marks. It really does look like you applied some pressure with your fingers there or something. But you never know. Someone else will probably say the opposite. Do you have any other Bart symptoms?

And I'm no expert either, but unless you got slapped (OUCH!) or you scratched yourself (& you said you didn't) then they are Bart marks. They are a little thinner than some pictures that you can find online, but if you have symptoms, plus these marks - then you can definitely believe your doc about having Bart!

Fronton, I definitely did not apply pressure there or scratch myself.

Yeah, I do have other Bart symptoms and have been clinically diagnosed with it.

Mister mike...they do look like it to you? I was thinking so.

I just re-added the URL. I know it's not the best way but I just can't get it to work the other way. You just need to copy and paste into browser.

Traveler-- haha, no I didn't get slapped or scratch myself :) Is it normal for Bart marks to appear and then fade away within hours?

Yes, it's quite normal for them to fade fairly quickly - although they certainly don't have to! Remember, they are a symptom of the infection, just like foot pain or any other symptom, but the skin 'rashes' seem to come and go more quickly with these infections.

I GET THOSE EXACT SAME MARKS, on my sides and stomach randomly, never pressure or touching the area and they appear and disappear on their own, I was wondering *** caused them

this is going to sound terrible but idk what my co infection it, it started with a B thats all I remember from my first appointment, I was going to ask my LLMD at my next appointment on the 19th the name of it again because I cant remember and i know there are only two that start with a b....pretty bad memory right now
