These two fabulous young men are riding their bikes across Canada to raise funds and awareness for Lyme disease. I can't wait to meet them and shake their hands when they come to my city!

I still get emotional reading stories like this.

Wow, after two years of treatment she is only 30% better.
Time I stopped complaining and started counting my blessings!

It's difficult to say.

After treatment with antibiotics started, I got some new symptoms.
But, some symptoms have gotten better, and I've lost a few.

I would say on most days, I'm probably about 30-40% better.
On good days, maybe 60-70% better. My good days - I sometimes have a few hours where I am almost symptom free.

I don't have several good days in a row. Usually, just one at a time.

If you ask me this in a few weeks, the answer may change. I have trouble deciphering what's happening...partly because my worst symptoms are still with me - one of my original symptoms is still very bothersome, so it over-rules how I'm feeling about it all, I guess.

How about you, Summersun? How is your progress...and remind me how long you've been treating?

But, I haven't been treating for 2 years yet, not even a year. And, bart hasn't really been addressed.

I have been in treatment for 1.5 years (herbal only) and I would say on my best days I am about 30% better. I often have days where I don't have a lot of symptoms but my worst symptom is the lack of energy so that really inhibits me from doing a lot...so that's why I say only 30%. Like you said, it's so hard to put a number on. I can manage around the house (cooking etc) most days but doing more an hour of shopping or so is out of the question. Some days I am not able to do any shopping or "extra" activities. I am sleeping better and I am a little stronger and less dizzy so things are improving, very slowly.

I also have major herxes when I try to increase my drops for Bartonella especially so I have been extremely slow in that regard.

It's great to hear you are 60-70% better on good days. That's quite an accomplishment in under a year in my opinion. Keep up the good work and good luck with your treatment.
