I have to say that I've run my DNA data through 200+ programs to help me understand what issues I may have in detoxing, methylation, absorbing nutrients, processing hormones, roadblocks to treatment, etc.
And, there are so many issues surrounding methylation, particularly the B's that I don't know what to do. I also learned I benefit from caffeine, and cannot process B6… as a follow up to GH's comment.
I think there is a much larger puzzle that we need to understand in methylation and the hydroxy forms of this or that are only the tip of the iceberg… sorry, this isn't a very useful answer.

I agree, much more to learn. I suspect that even when some of our Vitamin B levels are within our target range, we still suffer because we can't transport it where it needs to go. There are vitamins, elements, and proteins that are responsible for moving substances into and out of the mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, cell membrane, and through the wall of the GI tract. I've focused my study on the intracellular proteins as I feel they are the most affected by chronic disease. I think fungal infections are an issue for just about
all of us. Any of you that have taken raw Nigella Sativa seed know what I'm talking about
when I say that it burns my esophagus, nose, and even my stomach a little after I eat some. Each day afterward, it burns a little less. It's like it's killing a lot at first and then only a little as time goes by. I don't consider myself as having any fungal issues yet I can tell a difference when I take it.
I also think multiple issues are affecting most of us. I'll use my sleep as an example. I sleep 5 hours a night, especially eating 2 oz of walnuts a day. Over time, I've charted the nights that I sleep 7 or 8 hours and what I've eaten the day before. Each time, it's something different but the same things come back around. Lithium helps, manganese helps, sunlight helps, eating fish helps, and there are a couple of others. I will not sleep longer if these items aren't in my system. If I don't actively try to kill protozoans, I will sleep longer. There is a sweet spot where I can not treat and sleep all night. I could stay there but right now, I'd rather try to learn more.
