Hello everyone,
I finally got the results from ignex and the results came back positive. This was not a surprise as i did have a rash last summer and the connections seem to fit considering the symptoms. I was diagnosed with lyme and 1 co-infection ( anaplasma phagocytophilum)
I also have a lot of yeast in me and the nd wants to treat at the same time. My treatment plan consists of 200mg of doxy ( i told her i wanted more as i heard i need a stronger dose, she said we will up it in a month depending how i react)
She also put me on nystatin for yeast, grapefruit seed oil, glytothione, tumeric, lactofarin and 2 types of probiotics. My question is does my treatment plan sound okay? I am taking epsom baths and saunas almost everyday and have also cut out gluten.
My head is spinning and i am scared but a bit relieved that we found a diagnosis. My ND is very confident that i should see results shortly and she will get me back to 100% soon.
Does anyone else recommend doing anything else? I really want to hit this hard.
Thanks all
