Need advice. Miserable nerve pain in legs after getting picc

I am 4 wks into my picc line. I just started with a big flare up 3 days ago which i am assuming is part of the whole 4 wk life cycle i've read about. But 2 1/2 wks into my picc, my neuro symptoms in my legs and feet have been flared big time going on day 10 of that flare. Nerve pain, burning, tingling, sensitive to cold and hot. These symptoms were pretty calm until i started the picc line. I just need reassurance this should be happening. I just question if its a herx or reaction, etc. Is it odd to not have that flare up until 2 wks later and it last this long? My usual flares dont last that long, but i have never done IV. Doing IV rocephin and Zithromax.

I would echo just about everything Pirouette said - including the 3 week herx!! I seem to always wait for 3 weeks, then herx for 3 weeks.

Getting every detoxing pathway your body has working as well as you can is the best thing for settling down herxes, and don't forget that you can still use binders!
