Doxy expiration?

I have some doxycycline leftover from last August. There's no expiration date - I guess because we're expected to finish the entire lot.

Does anyone know how long it lasts?

I have been off antibiotics for 5 or 6 weeks now...(not because I'm symptom free - but had high liver enzymes), and was thinking of taking them - have a LLND appt. next week...but I feel like I'm getting worse - my throat lump is back, and my shoulder pain is a bit worse)
I started back on the bart herbs already...

But, I read doxy is one antibiotic that actually gets toxic when it's expired.

I guess I should google it and see what I get.

Most pharmacy's state a one year expiration date on all Rx, even if the bulk container from the mgf has a much longer expiration time.

There use to be a rumor floating around that the tetracyclines would turn toxic after a year, but that myth has been busted. I say you are safe for up to 2 years. I researched this myself not too long ago. Google ABX expiration time, theire is a lot of stuff posted on this.
