Hello to Everyone.. Just tested Positive Through Ingenex with 3 double star bands Positive and 5 total bands Positive which makes this Positive by both CDC and Ingenex Standards after 8 months of no help and treatment and being told in a letter from the Doctor in Cap Letters YOU DO NOT HAVE LYME!!!!! And sign his name... So here I go I am in Public Safety with 20 yrs of service and now Im the. Needing help , so if anyone knows what Doctor might be able cure this PLEASE send a reply.

Hello and welcome. I hope someone can help you here with your dilemma. You def need to find a good llmd in your area and ignore those who tell you its in your head ! We have all experienced this type of response from brain dead brainwashed useless MD's. Seem to be the norm these days unfortunately. Try a walk in treatment center and tell them you were bit by a tick for possible short course of doxy. Hope this helps.

Yet... it is good that you are here... there's a good chance that someone will be able to help you find LLMD in your area... it just takes a bit of time.

While you are waiting for a response here... another option is to go to the ILADS site and request a referral... which can also take a bit of time... so it is good to get the request in asap...

Hi LymeRookie - Welcome to the community. I am sorry that your illness is being denied...it's ridiculous.

Thank you for your dedication as a Fire fighter for 20 years...that is a challenging career you chose...and again, I am so sorry that now when you need help...the system is failing you.

The good news is, you have found this forum. This is a supportive, knowledgeable group of people and we can help you with this.

So, you will need to enable your email option - so members can email you names of LLMD's - we aren't allowed to post them - due to privacy reasons.

And, also - your other option is the Physician Referral through ILADS - website (link was posted below).
