Hi angelicameli
Order ONLY the IGeneX Western Blot Basic 188 IgM and 189 IgG tests (the other WB tests exclude key strains that were used in previously failed vaccinations, and are therefore even less accurate). You can order it online and have blood drawn at a lab corp and have labs sent only to the Palo Alto lab in CA (other labs do not follow as stringent or current protocol and produce less accurate results).
www.igenex.com/Website/#Also, I highly recommend that you "provoke" a more accurate immune response by starting on Olive Leaf Extract (a natural antimicrobial) immediately… Unfortunately, one of the first things lyme does is challenge your immune system, attacking red & white blood cells. Lyme tests are bad enough and very inaccurate but they are also serology tests, which rely on detecting a high volume of antibodies built up to the lyme microbes. But most people are sick w/ lyme because their immune systems were weak to begin with, allowing the infection(s) to overcome their immune systems. So the likelihood of them producing accurate test results is pretty low.
So the best results are to take OLE throughout the lifecycle of the lyme, or for abt 6 wks before you do labs. You might not have time to take it for a full 6 wks if your appt is in July but do it for as long as possible. Check w/ the labs for processing tine and work backwards from there. You'll want to have blood drawn on Mon, tues or Wed so that the sample doesn't sit at the shipper's over the weekend.
I took an ELISA test, which was negative. I provoked with OLE for 6 wks and then took the IGeneX, which was CDC positive.
