Hi everyone can anyone recommend what herb to start with or both i am on antibiotics but would like to add either jernigans antitox or pinella to my regime does anyone have any feedback on them or should i just add both thankyou

There is a member on here named Denise as well as another named Heathersdad who have extensive experience with Jernigan protocols. Also if you edit the title of your post to include pinella and antitoxin you may get more response.😄

It would depend on what you are using them for. Pinella is supposed to be a pretty good brain detox, where the anti-tox is more for nervous system detox.

It doesn't really matter which one you start first if you need both, just be sure to give your body plenty of time between starting each to make sure your not herxing, or starting into a herx when you start the second one. I would suggest you wait at least a week between starting each, if not a bit longer.

Hi catchshooter,

I used one of the Neuro-Antitox Formulas (I believe there are 4) called CNS/PNS Formula. I used it to bind up the toxins in my brain as well as ammonia (which is believed to cause brain fog).

No, I had ehrlichia and got totally well using Jernigan's protocol without abx.

I have not tried the Neuro-Antitox. I have thought about ordering it. If you try it, please let us know what you think.

I do like Pinella. It has helped me with brain function.

My daughter actually had used the Pinella for about a year prior to when we took her to the Hansa Center. We found it to be helpful. We later took her to the Hansa Center where Dr. J. used the neuro-antitox along with other substances and treatments. The result was more than helpful. There was a permanent elimination of all brain symptoms.

The neuro antitox is for both the brain AND nervous system, despite what has erroneously been stated in this thread. Yes, there are antitox products that are not for the brain, but the neuro-antitox product treats both effectively. Here is a link to the product that goes into detail:

Here is a link to a question that was directed toward Stephen Buhner asking his opinion of Antitox ll. Stephen Buhner then gave his opinion. Dr. Jernigan then responds to Stephen Buhner's opinion. My take on all of this is that the "science" behind a lot of alternative methods and materials is very spotty at best. I'm optimistic that the science record will someday catch up.

Dr. Jernigan's response is very insightful, as his methodology falls quite a bit outside even of the alternative camp. Apparently the paradigm of Dr. Jernigan's approach hasn't occurred in the minds of even "alternative" practitioners such as Buhner. I could tell from reading Buhner's response that he didn't really grasp what Jernigan's intent was for his herb selection. Jernigan set the record straight. The fact that Dr. Jernigan's approach is so different does not in and of itself make it the "correct" one, but it does establish the fact that it is quite foreign to the minds of most healthcare practitioners of all stripes.
