I really don't know how to proceed (new labs)

I'm so sorry that you are so down today!!

It still isn't known what all the CD57 represents. Some Lyme patients that are very, very ill can have high CD57 numbers, while some that aren't hardly bothered by symptoms will have very low CD57 numbers.

As for the WB testing, it only means that your immune system isn't responding to Osp C (Band 23 represents Osp C) at the time the test was taken, which could be from many things - even just the timing of the test. It's definitely not something to let get to you!

The WB was never intended to be used to gauge how well a patient is doing, only to help diagnose and track Borrelia Burgdorferi (Lyme disease in the strictest sense), so you could still have other strains of Lyme causing issues, or other co-infections.

We all experience ups and downs as we heal - physical, emotional and mentally. Try to find something to lift your spirits and know that if you had waited a week, your results might have been different.

My CD 57 is 108 and I feel like ***p.

Did you test with Igenix for coinfections? Or a private lab?
I used lab corp and everything came back negative even though I'm very symptomatic. I was under the impression that most of the test for Co's are unreliable. So this has to be a clinical dx. You have been on some heavy antibiotics for a long time. Have you considered candida at this point? I sent you an email.

Have you treated for co-infections, or just lyme?

Does your Dr. think you have co's?

Is your Dr. a LLMD?

Well, the only lab that I'm aware of that's worse than Labcorp for tick-borne infection testing is Quest. Even the best labs though have a lot of false negatives on co-infection testing because the blood has to be "flooded" with the bacteria at the time of the blood draw.

You can do what I had to do - go through the lists of symptoms for each infection and write down all the symptoms that match yours and what infections they correspond to. This takes a bit of time, but it was incredibly revealing for me. If I had more than just a few symptoms that could be attributed to another infection anyway, I assumed I had that infection. I also had a LLMD tell me that I had all the tick-borne infections for all intents and purposes. - this was my way of checking up on that information.

Well, I had most of the tick-borne infections, so it was easier for me in that respect. When I saw an LLMD, Dr. Edwin Masters (RIP), he helped me understand what I was dealing with (and just how sick I was), as well as trying his best to treat me.

Once I got into effective treatments though (years later), the symptoms from Lyme started to settle down, but Bart symptoms became unbearable. My legs hurt so bad with that deep bone pain that I couldn't stand or walk for more than 7 minutes without collapsing. My legs just couldn't take any more and buckled. So, I knew Bart was a major issue.

I just barely (LOL!) made it through those treatments before the Babesia air hunger was too much for me. I was happy to get into treatment for it to get those symptoms back down.

The rest of my infections (like RMSF, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichia and others) seem to have been healed with the herbs and supplements that I took.

So in the respect of diagnosing, my case was well enough defined as I went through treatments, so that was the part that was actually easiest.

Do you have a lot of overlapping symptoms? Which infections do you seem to have?
