Lyme Disease Treatment

My daughter has suffered from Lymes and all the accompanying disabilities for 17 years. We currently have an appointment next month at Sierra Integrative Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. Does anyone have any information about the success, pro or con, on this center? Wherever we go is a one time shot money-wise. Please help!

Just be very cautious. I can't imagine my child going through this. However we have had many on here go to clinics, spend tens of thousands of dollars, and not be happy with the results. Make sure you ask them what happens if their treatment does not work, how much it is going to cost upfront etc. etc.

Personally I would try many avenues before going to a clinic like an herbalist, a naturopath, a lyme literate (ILADs) doctor. In my case, I did all 3 (yup!) and it was still way cheaper then going to a clinic.

Some clinics are certainly better then others but as I said, just be cautious.

Personally, I would highly recommend seeing an LLMD before going Sierra. I have heard that they use high heat therapy, which I would not consider as a first line of treatment. I'm sure that they use other methods too. I have not treated there. So, I can't give you that kind of feedback.
