I just got notice of this.


"Dr H. will be on the NBC Today Show on Wednesday morning (tomorrow) at 10 am EST discussing Lyme disease. Parents magazine will be there with him discussing the warning signs of tick-borne diseases, and how we can protect our families from the spreading risk of tick-borne infections."

I tivo'ed & went thru the program, but did get (?), but found the Kathy Lee & Hoda Today segment after the fact:

Stats stated as over "30k"--really?

"Clinical diagnosis, 100 different strains...reported in every state..."

It was too short for it to sink in with anyone who doesn't know about it. I probably wouldn't have thought much about it before we were diagnosed. But, it's better than nothing and hopefully got a few people interested in learning more.

What I didn't like - symptoms - bulls eye rash, flu-like symptoms, fatigue. (I think those three were/are the ones always mentioned)

I had none of the above...if I had read instead - multi-systemic symptoms, - I may have considered it much sooner.

Everytime I googled it, I saw those three things...and thought I didn't have it.

Luckily I came to the forum here and the members said my symptoms were consistent with lyme disease...I got tested and was positive.

I think Dr. H. should add a few more symptoms on the list...when he does his 'talks'.
