Question on what meds you have to avoid sunlight in vs ones you can be in sun with??

I understand doxy and mino you should avoid sun exposure. Im currently still on doxy but stopping soon and will only be on zithromax and tindazole. can you be in the sun on zithromax and tindazole i know its confusing what meds you can use in the sun vs what ones you have to avoid the sun on?

So tetracyclines are not good with sun (mino, doxy). Doxy is the worst of the two.

I was on zithromax last summer - at a very hot, sunny destination for a min-vacay and not an issue.

Prior to that, I was on doxy and had sunscreen on - drove downtown - 10 minutes, in a store, then 10 minute drive back (almost an hour later) - sunburned.

So, I'm thinking all macrolides should be okay.

Don't know about tinidazole.

anyone know if tinidzole is ok in the sun or not?
