This is just a brief rant, bc I need to go to bed.
I wish I had put the brakes on my Houttuynia dosage. The herx is awful!!!
For goodness sake, it was a good bit less than a gram of tea.
I hate Bartonella too, but a Houtt. herx is almost worse.

Thanks for that Girlie.
I've been herxing on and off for several days now. Worst are the headaches, cognitive fog, and sudden crashes.
If I do Houtt. next week, it will be back to a teeny, practically microscopic dose.

I'm sorry Margaret!
I hope you are sleeping peacefully.

Honestly, did not sleep well. Awake until 5:00 a.m.
Now, I can't decide if I should drink my hooch (without Houtt) or not.
Getting bummed out.

You know your limitations better than we do Margaret. I'm sorry you did not sleep well! I completely understand your hesitation. I get that way too.
I hope you feel better-with or without your Houtenanny!

May I ask, please-WHAT is Houttuynia?
I take a Lyme tincture combo of:
Andrograhis, cats claw, prima una deGato, sarsaparilla, Japanese knotwood, teasel, & coptis.
I'm
open to opinions/advice of the effectiveness of this combo!

Sweetpea, Houttuynia is a Chinese herb used for Bartonella.
Sayya, thanks for the heads up!! That's definitely what I'm going to do then, i.e. order the tincture.
Just curious Sayya, but what protocol are you on? Buhner?
What herbs do you use for detox that don't give you herxes?
Thx., Margaret

Margaret, I just wanted to stop in and say how sorry I am that you are having such issues with Houttuynia. I hope that Sayyadina's suggestion of switching to a tincture helps you.
