I was reading the Google newsreel today, the keywords for the reel I was reading from were 'Lyme disease'. It took everything within me to restrain myself from laughing at the one article I found. I thought that as alternative labs are now bringing advanced methods by which to discover Lyme, that the rest of the labs would slowly but surely follow suit. We know the advanced labs are quite accurate, because the bulk of people exposed to them go on to find relief... or that's what we'd know as truth if we were to follow this forum, for example.
So no, the first impulse, apparently, is not to follow suit, but to attempt to label the more advanced labs as charlatans. I totally understand what they are talking about in the article, that what they've always understood to be CFS, lupus, and other conditions, are in fact Lyme, and they're in denial right now (or at least some are). I have a habit of skim reading, I caught one biggie typo or error in the article, there may be more; just saying, as to me that's a sign not to take anything too seriously. But as it's on a medical related site (actually, they claim to target medical professionals as their audience), go on and read it, have a laugh with me... lol.
