Hi all, have not been on for awhile, sorry, just too overwhelmed.

To all you who know me, hope you are feeling well and getting better! To all you who don't, hope you are seeing a lyme dr. and getting some help.

As for me, working on lining up a new school year for my son, the last two years, a disaster. At least the raging is better! The rifampin seems to be kicking the bart butt.

Trav. I know you are busy, hope hubby is doing better. My good friend, (second mom since mine died), got a bite 3 weeks ago. Got her into lyme dr. on meds in 3 days, hoping we are good - boy was she freaking out. But still, she was going to go to her REGULAR dr., can you believe it???? Ugh....

I was wondering about you, so I'm glad to see you back. I sure hope your friend can beat the beast!

LMC MOM!!! I'm sooo glad to see you posting!! I've been thinking about you, but my life has been crazy busy lately!! I'm so very sorry.

The raging is down for your son? Wooo hoooooooooo!!!! turn Yippie!!!!yeah Happy dance time!!!! smilewinkgrin

And how wonderful that your friend has such an advocate in you!!! You are truly an angel yourself.

She actually said that... she said I think Andrew saved my life, I would never have known or listened. She does have two friends around her age (70's) that have lyme, one serious heart issues and almost died, the other Parkinsons, undertreated lyme :(

Most people don't listen to me, even good friends, so in denial. So, it was nice when someone finally did! Yeah!

At first she was doing the oh, it's no big deal, it was not swollen, no blood in it... the whole bit, but when I freaked out on her and explained it was not the blood drawn out, but rather the crap dumped into her, she started singing a different (freaking out) tune ! :)

So, please bear with me, I'll be on when I can, but with four "children", two going out to fly on their own, one grad. college and moved a week later to NY to start a job and is still getting his bearings, the other doing plant research at Rutgers all summer, only to leave Aug 19 for Paris to study for 5 months, it's been really crazy - amazing all the stuff you need to do to study outside of the country!

Then there is the HS freshman with the big social agenda needing rides all over and of course the right things to wear and bring... then there are ALL the dr. appts for everyone, trying to catch up from the busy school year! WHEW!

NOW, starting yesterday there is the dealing with the Board of Ed, guidance, Child Study Team and of course, Andrew :( - Hoping he will cooperate so they can accomodate him. Not sure he will be up to snuff by Sept., we may need another year of allowances.

HUGS to you all, missed you. Will try to pop on to help those in NJ area find drs.
