Anyone taking herbals take antibiotics when things got bad. My glands are swollen and I'm getting an ear and sinus infection again. My doctor said she would send me a prescription. Should I take the two week prescription of Azithromyocin or just stay on the herbs. Will the herbs help the ear and sinus infection eventually or do I need something else for that. The infection is getting worse by the day.

If you have an ear and sinus infection (separate from your lyme symptoms), then I think you should take the azithromycin.
Are you on Buhner's herbs for lyme? (Sorry, I don't remember). If so, I don't think they will be effective at treating a sinus and ear infection.

I am on Buhner's for Bartenella and lyme .I read that Bartenella can affect the sinus and ears and I have a swollen gland behind my right ear, upset stomach and sore throat. Very tired too.

For me, I figured it was herxing, so, no, no abx. It did pass.

Just sharing my experience, of course, you need to do what you feel is right.

Do you have the symptoms of a sinus infection - that horrid green looking stuff from your nose? If so, yes, you definitely need the abx.
