first post/ doc says vector not tick

This is my first post ya'll

I don't really know what to say but I needed to get my feelings out...I tried to write them on paper but it looks like chicken scratch due to body tremors/jerks..I was diagnosed with lyme in march of 2010.. my doc told me yesterday that I have a lyme vector that happened around June 23 2015.. I have been sick and wanting to die since than..does anyone here recognize that ticks are not the only insect that carry B. BURG?..:THIS SUCKS!... I didn't think I would get infected again with a big dose of spiro- cheat! I say cheat because I feel this disease has cheated my life..ANYWAY ... I am taking natural antibiotics and hope to be in hyperbaric chamber next week...not to say I have the money for these things..I dont...I've had a hard time keeping down a job..my husband takes care of all money's now....prayers just don't seem to help anymore...I am thankful I will be able to get oxygen soon but we won't have savings again..maybe my next post will be more bright! I need to get this out..Thank you my lyme companions!

I'm glad you found us and were able to vent! That's what we're here for. I hope you find this to be a supportive, knowledgable group of people.

I'm not sure I understand fully what you mean in your post.
So, you were diagnosed in March, 2010 with lyme disease.
Now, your dr. is saying you were reinfected around June 23 of this year? And, he is also saying it's not from a tick? How could he possibly know that?


So, were you treated and healed after your 2010 diagnosis?
And, now you're having symptoms again?

Welcome to our community!! I'm so glad you found us and were able to get that off your chest!

It's really disheartening the way Lyme patients are treated in the "regular" world. I too would like some clarification of your timeline.

Were you treated in 2010 to the point that you had no symptoms? OR do you believe that you were reinfected or that this is the same infection that wasn't treated properly?

Yes, there is proof that more than just ticks pass these infection on to people, like mosquitoes:

Clarification:
I was diagnosed with lyme in 2010 by IGeneX lab test

Prescribed doxy for 6 weeks, other than that I havnt had any form of treatment,but I have struggled

I woke up on June 23 with what looked like spider bites all over my body. The next day there were rashes also.

Found a doc, he is out of state so we communicate through tech.

He sent monolaurin, immune system support, and grapefruit seed extract. He also said to get in O2 chamber or find H2O2 iv drp therapy.

Doc told me it was possible that it was a vector due to my symptoms and what I have experienced over the past 3 weeks
I never saw a tic ...not to say it wasnt, keeping an open mind.

I'm not sure if it's the same infection or if it's new..we both suspect it's new, but not sure.i havnt seen a doc for lyme since I was diagnosed. This doc is new.

With the nutrsuiticals, Jin Shin Jyutsu, oxygen chamber..I hope to be well..

I'm looking into Apitherapy..my neighbors have bees!

I'm going to have to invest in Buhners book. I have read that his protocols help people alot.

I've been doing apitherapy for about a month now, working up slow on my stings, moving on to 8 Friday. My mom stings me since I'm only doing it to my spine area right now. Seems to be making me have less pain and as of yesterday, I think more energy.

There's a group on facebook that I joined and they are seeing lots of results and getting there lives back and starting to enjoy life again.

I've heard fleas, spiders, Mosquitos, fire ants, bed bugs can also cause Lyme. But most of us didn't remember seeing a tick.

I have to say that I have been stupid!

I have not been proactive about this disease! I have just allowed it to wreck havoc on my mind body and spirit for 5 years!

I am scared now!

moeshe - It could be that you never fully treated the first infection - 6 weeks usually isn't long enough if you've had symptoms. (If you have only a bulls eye rash, no other symptoms then sometimes 6 weeks is long enough)
After your 6 weeks of treatment - were you symptom free?

Or, you were reinfected.

Either way, it's best you see a LLMD. He/she is the only person you want to treat you when you have lyme disease....not a PCP, not an ID Dr., not a Rheumatologist....a LLMD.

If you need help finding a LLMD, you can start a new thread titled: "Looking for LLMD in/near________" and insert your city/town and State in the blank.

Take a deep breath - it is treatable...
