My experience of MS is that it was caused by Cpn infection - and my own experience is that Cpn can be very difficult to treat. I've been on a combined antibiotic protocol for over 4 years to treat it (I've been ill at least 26 years, and possibly infected a lot longer than that). I've made amazing progress, as I'd reached the point where I could no longer walk or think or function when I started treatment. On a good day I can now walk several miles, and no longer needing to use a crutch. I've had every one of the symptoms you describe. I'm still not well - that's because I now know I also have Lyme and a load of co-infections - but definitely heading in the right direction.
I believe, when there has been very long term infection, there may be some residual damage which doesn't go away - but, from my own experience, I feel that all of those symptoms you list are more likely a result of continuing infection. I'm sorry you ND appears to be so negative about
it. I had dozens of MRIs, but none of them helped at all, given that the cause was bacterial.
